The Acer X1261 meets these needs, along with a host of nice features for superb value. Thanks to its native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, 2500 ANSI Lumens brightness, 3700:1 contrast ratio, a 6-segment color wheel, and Acer ColorBoost and SmartFormat technologies, the Acer X1261 projects vivid hues and true blacks for very impressive presentations.
3D Projection (3D Ready)
The DLP-based X1261-3D ready is compatible with stereoscopic 3D technologies using Texas Instruments' DLP Link and Nvidia 3D-Vision solution. These capabilities allow 3D pictures to be projected from a single beamer out-of-the-box without requiring any additional special polarizer, filter or screen.

- Featured on the detachable remote control, the Empowering Key provides instant access to Acer Empowering Technology tools:
- Acer eView Management helps you adjust projector settings to suit any presentation environment and content type. With the innovative Blackboard Mode, you can instantly project onto a traditional green chalkboard -- you don't have to set up a separate white screen.
- Acer eTimer Management provides an onscreen visual cue, keeping presentations on schedule. Simply set a time limit to your presentation, and a timer and reminder are displayed onscreen.
- Acer SmartFormat technology ensures support for a variety of display standards and resolutions, and makes setup easy, freeing you from complicated resolution settings.
- The projector automatically performs a safety shutdown if there is no input for an extended period of time.
- The Acer X1261 detects input as soon as a source is connected, eliminating time spent signal scanning.

Harmonious connectivity

- Through the loop-through function, a D-Sub output port allows another device, usually a monitor or another projector, to be connected to the X1260 for dual displays.
- An RS-232 serial port allows advanced control and monitoring via the system manager.
