How to connect your Microsoft Surface and surface Pro to a projector with a HDMI cable

For easy connection of a video projector to a Microsoft Surface you would connect to the HDMI port on the projector. The Microsoft Surface and Surface Pro do not have a HMDI port on the side but will either have a USB-C or a Mini DisplayPort connection that can be easily adapted. How to connect your Microsoft Surface or Surface Pro to a projector with wireless Miracast

The Microsoft Surface and Surface Pro run a Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating system which both can connect to Miracast compatible projectors. While not as fast as a cable and not really recommended for home theatre use this is a great connection for presentations and even basic training video’s. With projectors that do not feature Miracast you can add in the Miracast Wireless adapter which can work with projectors TV’s or any HDMI display.
