Powered by the long lasting Z-Phosphor laser with a life up to 20,000 hours if will save you on down time replacement lamps and technicians making it a lower cost of ownership long term. The 360 degree installation ability means you could also use the PHZ50 for signage where you angle the unit up or down to project advertising without worrying about overheating that lamp projectors were prone to. Additionally the flexible 1.6x optical zoom and lens shift the VPLPHZ50 is a good candidate for replacing an existing projector without having to move the position.

The Sony PHZ50 has been equipped with intelligent fine-tune features for consistent and dependable performance in any environment. From rarely used meeting rooms to heavy use public venues the VPLPHZ features an optimization algorithm that adjusts laser output and the cooling system depending on the usage frequency to prolong the life of the projector.
More flexibility for fuss-free installation
The VPLPHZ50 also features a generous optical lens shift of -35%, +55% vertically and +/- 15% horizontally for perfect alignment without the need for extra long extension poles. On top of that it also has both vertical and horizontal digital keystone for extra flexibility. The 1.6x optical zoom also give you a flexible installation distance making it a great candidate for replacing an older lamp projector without having to change the installation point.
4K 30P input support
The VPL-PHZ50 is also future proof with 4K 30P input signal support. If you are using a multi screen setup or upgrade other equipment in the future the Sony will still be able to read and project and avoids obsolescence. The VPLPHZ50 is also equipped with a high quality image scaler to convert 4K input signals into its native resolution while maintaining a clear high resolution picture.
