With optimized color performance via 2700 ANSI Lumens brightness and XGA resolution, the display is clear and vibrant. Other notable features include an HDMI™ port, a 6-segment color wheel with 3X rotation speed, support for both 4:3 displays and widescreens through Acer SmartFormat, and Acer ColorBoost II and EcoProjection technologies. The control pad is embedded on the sleek gray surface, which highlights the Acer logo.
The handy remote control features the Empowering Key for faster access to Acer Empowering Technology tools, while laser pointer and page up/down functionality ensures presentation convenience.

The Empowering Key provides one-touch convenience to Acer Empowering Technology tools:
- Acer ePower Management allows you to customize power-saving configurations. Featured in Acer ePower Management, High Altitude Mode lets you operate with faster fan speeds to prevent damage even when using the projector at high altitudes.
- Acer eView Management helps you adjust projector settings to suit any presentation environment and content type. With the innovative Blackboard Mode, you can instantly project onto a traditional green chalkboard -- you don't have to set up a separate white screen.
- Acer eTimer Management provides an onscreen visual cue, keeping presentations on schedule. Simply set a time limit to your presentation, and a timer and reminder are displayed onscreen.
- Acer eOpening Management creates a customized projector startup image with a company logo or personal photo.
Acer SmartFormat technology offers complete multiformat support -- this means instant projection without complicated resolution settings.
With the Installation menu, you no longer need signal input from a notebook when setting up, so it's easier and more convenient to install the projector on the ceiling.
Forty-degree vertical keystone correction alleviates the display distortion of an image with a wider top or bottom -- best for environments with limited space, like a small room or office.
The Acer P1266P detects input as soon as a source is connected, eliminating time spent signal scanning.
The P1266P has at least two connectors for multiple-PC source input, including D-Sub and/or HDMI™, offering more flexible connectivity and instant switching, and facilitating information sharing during meetings.
- An HMDI™ port delivers uncompressed digital signals and multi-channel audio for exceptional HD viewing and the highest quality video and audio currently available.
Via the loop-through function, a D-Sub output port allows another device, usually a monitor or another projector, to be connected to the P1266P for dual displays.
An RS-232 serial port permits advanced control and monitoring using the system manager.
