Ultimate portable projector
When you’ve only got a short opportunity to impress your audience, you want to be in complete control. The VPL-MX25 is the ultimate personal projector for people on the move. This projector has been designed for the style conscious professionals in a contemporary metallic chassis. Furthermore, it has been developed for maximum mobility - with a depth of 45mm and weight of only 1.7 kg, it is lightweight and easy to carry. The projector’s five step Advanced Intelligent Auto Set Up feature means it is quick and simple to operate. In addition, the Off-and-Go function means it can be unplugged immediately after being switched off.

By combining an optical system that incorporates Sony’s new and innovative BrightEra with Long Lasting Optics technology and a 3LCD projection system, the VPL-MX25 delivers high picture quality in XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and a high brightness of 2500 lumens. This allows professional presentations to be delivered in virtually any setting. Built-in wireless connectivity eliminates the need for computer cables. The user experience is further enhanced by built-in Microsoft Office Viewer software, supporting PDF and Microsoft Office formats, enabling presentations to be made directly from a USB storage device. The projector also has an embedded Windows Media Player which supports streaming from PC, network or USB storage device.

BrightEra with Long Lasting Optics technology
This is a more advanced version of Sony’s original BrightEra technology which was developed to deliver improved panel light resistance, higher brightness, higher resolution and increased panel reliability. This new technology incorporates new inorganic polarisers.

Colour Light Output - 2500 lumens
Colour Light Output is a metric that measures a projector’s ability to deliver colour. Colour Light Output provides users with a simple, accurate and easy to understand way to evaluate projector Colour Performance to make better buying decisions.

Weighing in at just 1.7kg with a depth of only 45mm and a magnesium ergonomic curved edge body design, it’s simply the ultimate in mobility, durability and style.

Off and Go Function
Power off, unplug and go. The fan continues to cool the VPL-MX25 after the power supply is removed, enabling users to unplug the projector immediately after use, without damaging the lamp or optics. Other projectors need to remain connected to the power supply to cool the projector after use.

“PC-less” Presentation Using a USB Memory Device
By attaching a USB memory device*, such as the Sony Micro Vault™ Series, to the VPL-MX25 USB connector, the operator can directly project data files stored on the USB memory device – no need to convert them in advance to other file formats, such as a JPEG format. This is a very smart and convenient feature, as road warriors no longer need to carry a PC to their presentations.

Supported file formats for this function include Microsoft
PowerPoint **, Excel**, and WMV and JPEG.
