Award-winning guide Denon Setup Assistant supplies simple, clear instructions to get started. Just connect your AV receiver to your TV and follow the instructions on the TV screen to connect your speakers, perform speaker measurements, and connect source devices. For additional convenience, the AV receiver renames HDMI inputs automatically when connected or you can rename manually at your convenience.

Denon AV receivers use the Audyssey suite of EQ software for simple, accurate setup and calibration. With the supplied Audyssey measuring microphone, Audyssey measures all the speakers in your home theatre, and tunes the AV receiver to provide the smoothest, most optimal overall listening experience for your room. This AV receiver supports Audyssey MultEQ XT room-correction technology. The other supported Audyssey features are Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume.

The Denon AVR-X1800H front panel features Quick Select buttons that store your preferred audio settings for each source. Switch between TV audio, Blu-ray, media players and more, and the AVR-X1800H adjusts the EQ settings to your preferences for that media source. Use the buttons on the front panel or opt for the same Quick Selects on the AV receiver remote for faster control. Now allows for one-push all zone stereo mode via Quick Select.
